Some of these sand sculptures on the beach at Puerto Mogan were part of the celebrations of the Noche de San Juan in 2007, which also included the 3rd annual FotoSub Gran Canaria Costa Mogan underwater photography competition. The sepia, moray eel, grouper, angel shark and the other fish (sorry, I didn't catch its name) were created over a period of a few days before the fiesta. I think you'll agree that the creators have really captured the essence of these sea creatures. The dragon was created by an itinerant sand sculptor visiting Playa Mogan.
